Introduction

At Anne M. Dorner Middle School, sixth-, seventh-and eighth-graders begin the process of becoming independent thinkers and critical learners. AMD addresses the development of the whole child undergoing the challenges of adolescence. The school strives to instill in students a sense of responsibility for both their community and themselves, while encouraging them to seek broad horizons and explore and develop interests beyond the core curriculum. AMD prides itself on offering rigorous Regents and grade level courses and we are committed to the social emotional needs of all students.
